Main Engine
2002 Honda BF225, 225 H.P., Four Cycle, 30″ shaft
Engine has only been operated (as the rest of the boat) for 208 hours. Engine was stored in 2008.
Honda was selected for their reliability, low noise level, their 35 years of building four cycle outboards and their compliance with the 2006 E.P.A. standards.

Auxiliary Engine
A transom bracket, gear shift controls, steering linkage and starting wiring are installed for the future addition of an auxiliary motor. Secondary hour meter and fuel filter are also installed.
Fuel System:
150 Gal. gas tank is constructed of aluminum, is removable and has internal baffles to reduce free surface effect.
Tank has a sump into which the pick-ups to the engines extend.
Sump is to capture any water or contaminates that may be taken aboard in fuel from contaminated sources.
Contaminates will flow with the fuel to the two Racor 120R-R4C-01 fuel filters which are plumbed in parallel for the main engine or a Racor 110A filter for the auxiliary engine.
Parallel plumbing of two fuel filters for the main engine which allows for switching between filters for draining or servicing while under way. This configuration performs constant cleaning of the fuel tank and fuel.

There is also a second pick-up for draining the tank if that ever becomes necessary.
The tanks fill / vent protects against overboard discharge of fuel when filling.
All filters are located in the lazarette.
